OTTAWA, ON – HEO U18 AAA is pleased to announce that Ottawa Junior Senators goaltender David Egorov has been voted as the 2021-22 Top Goaltender.
The 2006 born Manotick, ON native posted an 11-4-2-0 record on the season, sporting a league leading .926 SV%, a 2.16 GAA, and 2 shutouts as he helped lead the Junior Senators to a 4th place finish in the regular season.
The Ottawa Myers AAA and Nepean Raiders AA product showed tremendous positioning and poise on a game-to-game basis through out the year, giving his team a chance to be competitive every time he was between the pipes.
Egorov joins the likes of Cedrick Andree and Jacob Osborne as OJS goaltenders who claimed the Top Goaltender Award in seasons past.
