OTTAWA, ON – Selected in the 1st round of the 2021 Central Canada Hockey League Bantam Protected Draft by the Cornwall Colts, Orleans, ON native Justin Ouellette has done a lot of things right in his HEO U18 AAA rookie season due to blending his high-skill level with hard work each game.
Ouellette has proven to be an exciting player to watch and continues to get better each game. At 5’7, 155 lbs, he is willing to engage in all areas of the ice, and his speed and deception allow him to create offense from difficult situations. Ouellette has an incredibly quick release and can get pucks away in tight areas. His hockey sense and vision allow him to see and make plays where most players can’t. These skill traits go along well with his desire to outwork the opposition in all areas of the ice.
Through 17 games, Ouellette has totaled 11 points (5G, 6A).
Prior to playing U18 AAA, Ouellette came up through the Eastern Ontario Wild AAA and Eastern Ontario Cobras A programs.
