HEO Midget AAA is pleased to announce its CCM Performers of the Month for February.
Top Forward – Kyle McDonald – Ottawa Jr Senators Midget AAA
The Ottawa, ON native scored 9 goals and totaled 18 points in 10 games of action, scoring 5 of his goals on the PP and finishing with 1 Game-Winner.
On the season, McDonald finished 7th overall in league scoring with 46 points (25G, 21A) in 40 games played.
Top Defenseman – Alex Rossides – Ottawa Jr Senators Midget AAA
The Cumberland, ON product finished the month with 3 goals and 9 points in 10 games played. He showed his ability to distribute the puck on the powerplay picking up 4 assists on the man advantage.
In 40 games this season, Rossides finished 6th overall among league defensemen with 21 points (7G, 14A).
Top Goaltender – William Nguyen – Nepean Raiders Midget AAA
The Ottawa, ON native went 5-2-0-0 during the month, helping Nepean clinch a top 4 spot for playoffs. He led all goaltenders with 185 saves, while sporting a .925 SV% and 2.14 GAA.
He finished the season with a 13-8-0-0 record, with 2 shutouts, a 2.55 GAA, and .907 SV%.
