ROOKIE SPOTLIGHT | HARRY NANSI | NEPEAN RAIDERS

OTTAWA, ON – Selected in the 2nd round of the 2022 Central Canada Hockey League Bantam Protected Draft by the Nepean Raiders, 2007 born Nepean, ON native Harry Nansi has been on the radar of Major Junior scouts for awhile and is showing why this is the case in his rookie season of HEO U18 AAA.

Nansi is a big-bodied RW/C that uses a unique blend of size, speed, and skill to wreak havoc on opposing teams. Using his high-level hockey IQ and puck skills, Nansi creates opportunities for himself to release his textbook snapshot, which he releases quickly and accurately from all areas in the offensive zone.

Nansi showed just how unstoppable he can be offensively in a game earlier this season when he scored 6 goals and 2 assists to break both the HEOU18AAA single-game goals record and points record, and has not shown any signs of slowing down since. Look for him to continue making improvements to his 200-foot game, defensive zone play, and physicality this season as he is also a very dedicated player that works extremely hard both in practice and in the gym.

On the season, he sits 7th overall in league scoring with 35 points (17G, 18A) in 26 games of action.

Prior to his time in U18AAA, Nansi came up through the Ottawa Myers AAA and Nepean Raiders AA programs.
