The HEO U18 AAA LEAGUE is currently seeking a qualified member for the position of League President for U18 AAA.
For the 2020/21 season the President will be appointed by the U18 AAA Board of Governors. The term of the position will be two years.
The President of the U18 AAA League will be appointed by and be accountable to the U18 AAA Board of Governors. This appointment is for a term of two years and may be extended or rescinded by the Board of Governors.
The President shall be responsible for the operations and affairs of the League in accordance with League and HEO governing policies, rules and regulations. The President will preside over all League Executive meetings and shall not vote on League matters except in the case of a tie when they shall cast the deciding vote. The President will be an ex-officio member of all League Standing and Ad Hoc Committees. They will attend HEO Minor Council and U18 AAA Board of Governor Meetings, and may be called upon to participate in various HEO committees and task teams, as required.
The President will have financial accountability for the League’s revenues and expenditures. They will co-sign all cheques and documents on behalf of the League. In conjunction with the League’s Finance Manager and Executive, they will prepare the League’s annual operating budget for U18 AAA Board of Governors approval.
