OTTAWA, ON – Chosen by the Kemptville 73’s in the 7th round of the 2021 Central Canada Hockey League Bantam Protected Draft, Ingleside, ON native Wyatt Warner has made a tremendous splash so far in HEO U18 AAA.
A player with a high-end compete level and work ethic, Warner does not shy away from going into the tough areas of the ice and always battles for loose pucks. He is also not afraid to get physical and play the body.
A very good skater with a relentless motor that forces opponents to take penalties against him. His strong skating allows him to navigate through traffic to get into the places on the ice he can be most successful but is especially dangerous in the open ice as he can really fly when he gets going.
Offensively, Warner has a quick release and the ability to score goals in a number of ways. He will score off the rush, he will work for rebounds, and he will embarrass goaltenders if he finds himself in all alone.
