OTTAWA, ON – Drafted in the 7th round of the 2021 Central Canada Hockey League Bantam Protected Draft by the Ottawa Junior Senators, Manotick, ON native David Egorov has had an exceptional start to his rookie season in HEO U18 AAA.
Standing 6-1, Egorov covers the net well and affords opposing shooters with limited opportunities given his athleticism, poise, and precise positioning. His presence between the pipes gives his team a chance to be successful every game. This came into full effect in an early November game, when he made 52-saves, including a handful from point-blank range to pick up a shutout over 1st place Nepean.
That’s one way to frustrate your opponent, just make back-to-back spectacular saves.
