Ottawa, ON – HEO Midget AAA is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for February.
Brody Fournier from the Smiths Falls Bears earned Top Forward honours, Aidan Cooper from OHA Gold is the Top Defenseman, while Nathaniel Boyes from the Smiths Falls Bears brings home Top Goaltender honours.
TOP FORWARD | BRODY FOURNIER
The 2003 born Perth, ON native totaled 20 points (8G, 12A) in 10 games of action, helping Smiths Falls to a 6-3-1-0 record in February. He was held pointless on just one occasion, while contributing with five multiple-point games. On the season, Fournier finished fourth (second among HEO clubs) with 68 points (34G, 34A) in 45 games of action.
TOP DEFENSEMAN | ADIAN COOPER
The 2003 born Rothesay, NB native led all league defensemen with 12 points (4G, 8A) in 13 games of action in February. On the season, Cooper finished with 18 points (5G, 13A) in 44 games.
TOP GOALTENDER | CONNOR BAILLIE
The 2004 born Greely, ON native posted a 3-0-0-1 record with a 0.95 GAA, .963 SV%, and 1 shutout, stopping 103 out of 107 shots he faced. On the season, Baillie went 15-4-0-3, leading the league in GAA (1.38), SV% (.944), and tied for tops in shutouts (5).
