Release | CCM Hockey Performers of the Month announced for November

Ottawa, ON – HEO Midget AAA is pleased to announce its CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for November.

Ben Bujold of the Kanata Lasers has been named Top Forward, Adam Barkley of the Kemptville 73’s is the Top Defenseman, while Gavin McCarthy from the Brockville Braves brings home Top Goaltender honours.

TOP FORWARD | BEN BUJOLD

The 2004 born Richmond, ON native totaled 20 points (6G, 14A) in 9 games of action, tying teammate Paul Hughes for tops among all league skaters during the month of November. The two-way forward tallied points in all 9 games, picking up six multiple-point efforts along the way. On the season, Bujold leads all league rookies in Points (39), and Assists (24).

TOP DEFENSEMAN | ADAM BARKLEY

The 2003 born Inkerman, ON native totaled 9 points and logged big minutes in 9 games of action for the 73’s in November. The two-way defender had three multi-point efforts and helped Kemptville to a 7-2-0-0 record. On the season, Barkley leads all league defenseman in Points (25), and Assists (20).

TOP GOALTENDER | GAVIN MCCARTHY

The 2003 born Athens, ON native posted a perfect 6-0-0 record in November, sporting a 1.78 GAA, .939 SV%, 1 Shutout, while making 168 Saves. The second year netminder, who has taken on a heavier load this season allowed two goals or less in 6 of his 7 appearances and made 30 or more saves on three occasions. On the season, McCarthy leads the league in Wins (15), while sporting an impressive 2.34 GAA and .922 SV%.
