Petes AAA Tourney | Ottawa Capitals crowned Tournament Champions

Ottawa, ON – Day 3 of the Steve Richey Tournament of Champions in Peterborough saw the Ottawa Capitals continue their strong play and be crowned the 2019 Tournament Champions with victories over Peterborough and Central Ontario.

The Ottawa Ambassadors, although compiling a strong 3-1-0 record with a +18 rating, finished 2nd in their division and failed to advance to the championship round.

Mark Webb (2), and Easton Ryan score in regulation, Isaac Enright wins it in OT, while Zach Racine snags another victory as the Capitals advance to the Championship Game.

Mason McTavish scores twice and is named tournament MVP, Bill Gourgon and Brody Fournier add singles, while Patrick Leaver get the Win in net as Ottawa captures the 2019 Steve Richey Tournament of Champions Title.
