HEO U18 AAA ROOKIE SPOTLIGHT | CATON RYAN | CARLETON PLACE CANADIANS

OTTAWA, ON – Selected in the 1st round of the 2021 Central Canada Hockey League Bantam Protected Draft by the Carleton Place Canadians, Kanata, ON native Caton Ryan has been a consistent contributor among league rookies this season in HEO U18 AAA.

Ryan is a highly skilled playmaking center as well as a strong leader on and off the ice. His high-end vision allows him to find seem passes that set his teammates up for high quality scoring chances. On the rush, Ryan’s stickhandling allows him to weave through defenders and open up lanes for his teammates. 

Overall, he is the type of player who makes his teammates better day in and day out by pushing them in practice and in off-ice workouts. Ryan is a driven player with a love for the game and a bright future in hockey. 

 To date this season, Ryan sits 5th overall in league rookie scoring with 20 points (9G, 11A) in 22 games of action. 

 Prior to his time with the Canadians, Ryan came up through the Ottawa Myers AAA and Kanata Blazers AA programs.
