Ottawa, ON – HEO Midget AAA is pleased to announce its CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for September.
Cedrick Guindon from the Rockland Nationals is the Top Forward, Hunter Brown from the Kemptville 73’s is the Top Defenseman, while Charles Schenkel from the Rockland Nationals is the Top Goaltender.
TOP FORWARD | CEDRICK GUINDON
The 2004 born Rockland, ON native was electric this past month, totaling 25 points (12G, 13A) in just 12 games of action. He led all HEO Midget AAA skaters in Points, Assists, and Game-Winning Goals while finishing second overall in Goals.
TOP DEFENSEMAN | HUNTER BROWN
The 2003 born Stittsville, ON native totaled 9 points (1G, 8A) in 11 games of action over the first month of the season, offering an offensive touch from the back-end while playing a sound defensive game as well.
TOP GOALTENDER | CHARLES SCHENKEL
The 2004 born Ottawa, ON native posted a strong 5-1-0 record over the first month of the season, while leading the league among qualified goaltenders with a .948 SV%, and coming in second overall with a 1.51 GAA. He stopped 164 of 173 shots, and allowed 2 goals or less in 5 of his 6 starts and picked up 1 Shutout.
