Ottawa, ON – HEO Midget AAA is pleased to announce its CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for December.
Mason McTavish of the Pembroke Lumber Kings earned Top Forward honours, Dylan Kosik from the Rockland Nationals is the Top Goaltender, while Navan Grads Ty Hollett brought home Top Defenseman honours.
Top Forward | Mason McTavish
The rookie sensation from Carp, ON continued his strong play this past month, leading all skaters with 17 points (10G, 7A) in just 6 games of action. He had 4 multi-point performances including a 4-point effort Vs OHA Gold and 6-point effort Vs Cornwall. His 28 Goals rank 1st among all skaters in the league, while his 54-points place him 2nd overall.
Top Goaltender | Dylan Kosik
The 2001 born Kanata, ON native posted a 2-0-0 record with 2 shutouts in December. He started the month with a 25-save shutout Vs OHA Gold and then added a huge 44-save shutout victory over OHA Maroon. In 16 games on the year, Kosik is 10-3-0 with 4 shutouts, a 1.94 GAA, and a .931 SV%.
Top Defenseman | Ty Hollett
The rookie from Orleans, ON totaled 7 points (2G, 5A) in 5 games of action, helping the Grads to a 3-2-0 record in December. He is third among rookie defenders on the season with 17 points (3G, 14A) in 31 games.
