Braves U18 alumni Serron Noel selected 35th overall by Florida Panthers in NHL Entry Draft

Ottawa, ON – HEO Midget AAA and the Brockville Braves  Midget AAA alumni Serron Noel was selected in the 2nd round, 35th overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday. 

The 6-5, 200 lb right shot winger played for the Braves as a 15-year old during the 2015-16 season, where he was named HEO Midget AAA Top Prospect as he collected 30 points (19G, 11A) in 47 games of action. 

He would go on to be selected by the Oshawa Generals in the 2nd round, 25th overall later that year, and has spent the past two seasons honing his craft in the Ontario Hockey League. In 139 games of action with the Generals, Noel has totalled 78 points (37G, 41A).
