OTTAWA, ON – It has been a long time since twenty-nine players have been selected in the OHL Draft out of Eastern Ontario. In fact, this is the highest number of players selected out of the region since the same number of twenty-nine were taken back in 2002 when the draft was for multiple ages and not just for one age group like it is now. This is arguably the most successful OHL Draft for a specific age group out of Hockey Eastern Ontario ever.
