Release | OHL’s London Knights sign 1st round pick Ben Bujold

 

The London Knights are excited to announce that the team has signed their first-round draft pick from the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, Ben Bujold. Bujold was drafted 19th overall.

He brings a strong 200-foot game and offensive creativity to the organization and we look forward to watching his continued development.” – Mark Hunter, Co-Owner and General Manager of the London Knights.

Bujold played last season for the Kanata Lasers of the Hockey East Ontario Minor Midget AAA league. Over 43 games he collected 18 goals and 37 assists for a total of 55 points. The native of Richmond, Ontario, is known for his strong two-way play and excellent play making ability. He is able to effectively utilize his skating ability to contribute at both ends of the rink. Bujold also appeared in four games for the Kanata Lasers of the CCHL where he collected an assist.

The London Knights’ 2019 first-round selection, Stuart Rolofs, also came from the Kanata Lasers program.

Bujold will wear number 71 for the Knights.
