Ottawa, ON – HEO U18 AAA is pleased to announce that Rockland Nationals forward Cedrick Guindon has been named 2019-20 Rookie of the Year.

The 2004 born Rockland, ON native led all rookie skaters this season with 59 points (24G, 34A) in 41 games of action. He also represented Canada at the 2019 Youth Olympic Games where he finished second in team scoring with 4 points (3G, 1A) in 4 games, helping Canada claim a Bronze Medal.

Known across the league as a solid two-way forward, Guindon sees the ice well and can finish just as well as he can create. Whichever team selects him in the upcoming OHL Priority Selection will be getting a really good player who will continue to progress.

“Cedrick is incredibly talented,” said Nationals Head Coach Jeff Stanton. “He does everything at top-speed.”
