PLAYER SPOTLIGHT | NATE GALBRAITH | BROCKVILLE BRAVES

OTTAWA, ON – Selected in the 1st round of the 2021 Central Canada Hockey League Bantam Protected Draft by the Brockville Braves, Brockville, ON native Nate Galbraith has taken a big step forward in his second season of HEO U18 AAA.

Galbraith is 2-8-0-0 with a .918 SV% and 4.12 GAA, while leading the league in saves with a whopping 459, which is 200+ more than second place in that category. Each and every night, Galbraith gives his team an opportunity to pick up points with his stellar play between the posts.

“Galbraith is the backbone of our team and continues to show up every night despite being on the wrong side of the score most nights,” said Braves Head Coach Rob Kennedy. “NCAA and OHL teams cannot go wrong with adding a goaltender like this to their program as he is a young man that puts the work in everyday to not only better himself but the team as well. He is a natural leader .”

“Galbraith is a very hard competitor, who can maintain movement and quite literally steal a game on any given night. He is very calm and focused and can refocus quickly, while also serving as an excellent shootout goalie.” – Nick Tatler – Sports Illustrated

Prior to his time in U18AAA, Galbraith came up through the Upper Canada Cyclones AAA and Rideau St. Lawrence Kings AA programs.
