OTTAWA, ON – Drafted in the 4th round of the 2021 Central Canada Hockey League Bantam Protected Draft by the Nepean Raiders, Gloucester, ON native Jaden Cholette has been among the top netminders in every single statistical category so far in his rookie season of HEO U18 AAA.

Cholette is a big, confident goaltender that has seamlessly transitioned into U18 AAA hockey this season. Despite having a calm demeanor in the crease, Cholette attacks opposing shooters with crisp angles that afford opposing shooters with few opportunities to sneak one past him. He is very talented at playing the puck out of his crease, and routinely makes accurate breakout passes that help to start a new offensive attack.

Cholette is also elite on breakaways, using his high-level instincts and athleticism to bail his team out when required. He will be a key contributor, alongside goaltending partner Dom Amodeo, in helping the Nepean Raiders make a deep playoff run this season.

Through 12 games, Cholette has a record of 10-1-0-1, with a 1.93 GAA, .914 SV%, and 2 shutouts.

Prior to playing U18 AAA, Cholette came up through the Ottawa Jr 67’s AAA, Upper Canada Cyclones AAA, and Gloucester Rangers AA programs.
