OTTAWA, ON – Drafted in the 1st round of the 2021 Central Canada Hockey League Bantam Protected Draft by the Renfrew Wolves, Braeside, ON native Dean Letourneau has a ton of tools in his arsenal and has been a standout rookie in HEO U18 AAA.
At 6-3, and 180 lbs, his size allows him to win puck battles against the opposition and be a dominant net-front presence on the power-play. On top of his physical attributes, Letourneau is a pure finisher in close due to his soft hands and poise. He is probably the most highlight prone player with the Wolves due to his creativity to try things and his skill-set to execute plays that most 2006 born players at this level can’t. He has high-end hockey sense and vision and works as hard in practice as he does in games.
What an effort here! 2006 born Braeside, ON native Dean Letourneau shows off his 1 on 1 ability. If this clip is any indication, opposing defenders are going to have lots of trouble containing the @WolvesU18AAA 6-3 forward moving forward. pic.twitter.com/pjsS0ax8jg
