OTTAWA, ON – Selected in the 2nd round of the 2021 Central Canada Hockey League Bantam Protected Draft by the Navan Grads, forward Ben Cormier has been tearing up the HEO U18 AAA circuit right from the get-go this season.
Cormier is a dynamic forward with a high hockey IQ and the ability to make plays in all situations. He uses his separation speed to score off the rush and possesses a quick release that haunts opposition goaltenders. He is highly competitive and leads by example every game for the Grads.

Through 19 games this season, the Orleans, ON native sits 2nd overall in league rookie scoring with 38 points (19G, 19A).
Prior to his time suiting up for the blue and white, Cormier suited up for the Ottawa Jr 67’s AAA program at the Minor and Major Bantam levels. He is a product of the Cumberland Minor Hockey Association.
