NEPEAN, ON – HEO U18 AAA and Nepean Raiders U18 AAA are pleased to announce that 2005 born Ottawa, ON native Luke Posthumus has committed to NCAA Northeastern University.
Posthumus won the 2021-22 HEO U18 AAA Most Valuable Player Award after leading the league in scoring with 81 points (38G, 43A) in just 32 games of action. He went on to help the Raiders win the league championship, posting another 14 points (6G, 8A) in 7 games.
The Raiders would then go on to capture a Bronze Medal at the Central Region U18 AAA Championships in Toronto, where he added another 18 points (10G, 8A) in 7 games. His 10 goals led the tournament.
He recently committed to the Nepean Raiders of the Central Canada Hockey League for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

Posthumus is a product of the Ottawa Myers AAA and Nepean Raiders AA and B Minor Hockey programs.
