HEO U18 AAA is pleased to announce that Hunter McKnight of the Brockville Braves has officially signed with the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League.
The 6’2 and 180lb centre was selected by the Storm in the 8th round, 155th overall in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection Draft. During the 2021-22 season, McKnight finished second on the Braves with 26 points (12G, 14A) in 30 games of action.
“Hunter made an excellent first impression during our recent development camp. His combination of skating, size, and skill was very evident,” said GM and Head Coach George Burnett. “We are excited to work with Hunter as he prepares for his first OHL Training Camp in the fall. We expect him to challenge our strong returning group of forwards for a role with the Storm in the near future.”
“My family and I are super excited and honoured to join the Guelph Storm organization,” said McKnight. There is lots of work ahead for me as I prepare for my first OHL training camp and the upcoming season. I can’t wait to get started.”
